Living in central southern Indiana is a perfect place for artist inspiration. Not only for the beauty of the variety of trees, old farms and homesteads, but the area has endless scenic painting opportunities as it is networked by a maze of small back roads, mainly built from trails following along creeks meandering through the rolling hills. I have done many paintings along these trails like this one from along Hamilton Creek Road in southern Brown County, and never tire of the surprise compositions that each curve of the road brings. |
